Opponents: Universal Academy Preview

Wichita, KS. - After a dominant win this past Tuesday night against Phhoenix Prep, Sunrise Christian Academy will host Universal Academy at home this Saturday, November 13th at 3 p.m.

The last meeting between these two teams was on February 20, 2020. Sunrise got the 71-42 win against Universal last season and is hoping to do the same this Saturday. Universal Academy will be on the second night of a back-to-back, as their season opener will be this Friday.

Universal Academy is led by head coach Terrelle Woody. Their roster is composed of Breadan Jordan, Kai Jordan, Marlon Linton, Croix Cox, Johnathan Price, Benjamin Price, Kevin Paul, Ty Cox, Kaleb Taylor, Camren Paul, Cyrus Shaw, and Maurion Young. This is a young Universal squad with only two seniors this season.

Sunrise has to take advantage of this Universal squad on the second night of a back-to-back this Saturday and come out strong once again. Sunrise’s players have an upper hand on experience and should utilize that against this younger team to their advantage.
