Wichita, KS. - Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes (2-0) will host the Legacy School of Sports Science Titans (0-1) at home this Friday, November 19th at 7 p.m. The last meeting between these two teams was on December 15, 2020, which resulted in a 114-59 Sunrise win.

Sunrise has been on fire to start the season and has been dominant in their first two games. Legacy’s opening game was against number eight ranked Link Academy. Legacy took this top 10 team in the country to the wire as they lost 57-56. Sunrise should not underestimate this squad.

Legacy is coached by former Wichita State University guard Pj Couisnard. Cousinard has been Legacy’s coach since the 2019-2020 season and has helped transform Legacy into one of the best basketball programs in Texas.

Legacy has four returning players; Kameron Burton, Jaden Gallien, Ma’syn Howell, and Julius Morris. They brought in Dionjahe Thomas, Frederick Payne, Cortland Thomas, Khalil Mars, Jevon Hill, Tyler Miller, and Jaret Imeka Valencia to round out the roster.

Sunrise is led by Gradey Dick, who has 49 points in two games and shooting 11-17 from three. Dick has been the offensive firepower that Sunrise needs to compliment their outstanding defense.
