Video

You will capture dynamic, high-quality video and photos for recruiting, marketing, branding, and external collateral. As a brand storyteller, responsibilities include capturing and producing in-game and pre/postgame motion and still imagery as well as practices, facilities, and other events. Proficient as a cinematographer/photographer including technical skill with DSLR cameras; experience in managing the full production process and producing high-quality content, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Must demonstrate experience in creativity in both shooting and editing; produce innovative content without direct supervision. Preferred experience in motion graphics and After Effects.

The candidate will assist with implementing social media strategies, campaigns, and presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social applications as needed.

Additionally, assisting with the operations of the community relations efforts including, fulfilling donation, appearance, and autograph requests. Must be able to collaborate and take direction, as well as, initiate new projects. Great verbal communication skills are a must. The ability to work on the road is necessary. 

The candidate can expect to travel with the team, attend team practices, team meetings, and special events. Additionally, work with third-party media companies on projects.

Social Media

You will be in the thick of the program helping with social media!

This role requires a lot of creation, initiative, execution, and especially teamwork! You must have strong communication skills both written and verbal. Keen non-verbal skills are a plus.

This role looks like assisting copywriter/graphic designer/social media manager/operations manager in completing deadlines.

You need to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in film, live stream, social media, graphic design, and event planning.

High emotional & relational intelligence is a must.

Some overnight travel is required. Expenses covered.

Starting September 1st, 2021 - May 1st, 2022

25 - 35 hours/weekly.

Sports reporting/storytelling

Writing stories about players, teams, games, tournaments, press releases, and script-writing. Requires strong verbal and writing communication skills. Must have a strong track record of social and emotional intelligence in human interaction.

Must take initiative to find the story and present it in a compelling way.

Must work well with others to advance the overall organization through the execution of projects and tasks. Including working with marking, video, and events personnel to create coherent stories online, videos, and at events. Will collaborate with outside media representatives on behalf of the organization.

Starting August 1, 2021 - May 1st, 2022

20 - 30 hours/weekly.

Graphic designer

Proven competency in graphic design. Experience in Adobe products is preferred.


The candidate will assist the executive team, social media manager, operations, copywriter, advancement personnel, and coaching staff to create graphics, video, and animation to advance the overall organization. Must be able to meet deadlines and execute multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must have amazing verbal communication skills and time management.


Starting September 1st, 2021 - May 1st, 2022
20 - 30 hours/weekly.


The candidate is expected to work through the entirety of the internship including; normal hours, nights, weekends, holidays. This is a paid internship. Compensation will vary based on qualifications and work experience.

Sports marketing

This qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of strategic marketing planning and initiatives for Sunrise Christian Hoop programs. Work with the staff to plan and execute marketing plans for amateur boys basketball. Develop fan-friendly strategies that serve the needs of the athletics programs and other assignments as designated by the staff.

 The candidate will gain experience with:

  • Create and pitch marketing plans with a focus on increasing attendance and game atmosphere/fan experience and generating revenue.

  • Assist with the fulfillment of sponsorship elements, presentations, and entertainment.

  • Assist with distribution of collateral materials.

  • Assisting with the operations of the community relations efforts including, fulfilling donation, appearance, and speaking requests.

  • Office duties such as planning, online advertising, e-mail, inventory, or organization.

  • Must be able to collaborate and work with third-party marketing companies.

  • Must be available to work assigned dates and times including nights, weekends, and holidays

Starting September 1st, 2021 - May 1st, 2022

 

30-35 hours/weekly.

 

Candidates will be expected to work through the entire semester and must be interested in sports marketing. Also must be a team player, willing to be creative, and be passionate about projects.
